29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   Worksite located at 600 W. 39th St., Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were using a spray applicator to apply the glue adhesive, which is harmful to their eyes, and were not protected from the particulates by the use of any means of eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system:   Worksite located at 600 W. 39th St., Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were observed working and walking on the edge of the roof and were not protected from falling to the lower level by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.   The Precision Roofing Company  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1273329, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/01/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 17700 Susquehanna Road, Independence, MO 64056.
