Employees were exposed to approximate 30 foot fall hazards on a 4/12 pitch roof.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. (a) Job site, Oak and Fair Streets, Fairchance, PA 15436, on or about January 31, 2020, employees were not trained in the hazards associated with fall protection while removing roofing material from a material handling lift. Employees were exposed to approximate 30 foot fall hazards on a 4/12 pitch roof.
