29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required to use personal protective equipment (PPE): In Railroad Kits workshop area located in the basement of 165 Flagler Drive, Holden, MA: On or about February 7, 2020, the employer provided personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees who handled hazardous chemicals including but not limited to a solid and melted state metal alloy containing tin, lead and antimony, copper, silver, plus liquid plastics, wood stains, silicone rubber, and mineral spirits. Employees used PPE including gloves and safety glasses and the employer did not provide training on when PPE is necessary, what PPE is necessary, how to properly don, doff, adjust, and wear PPE, the limitations of the PPE and the proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE.
