29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:     On or about February 11, 2020, employees were exposed to falls in excess of 10 feet while accessing and exiting the roof via an extension ladder, which did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface of the roof, on a residential construction site in Springfield, Illinois.       BLACKHAWK ROOFING, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), WHICH WAS AFFIRMED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1274715, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBRUARY 5, 2018, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2126 S. MACARTHUR BLVD, SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS 62704.
