OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed struck-by hazards. a. On or about February 13, 2020 the employer did not assure employees operating/handling concrete pump discharge hoses were informed of or trained in the hazards associated with hose whip dangers of the concrete pump discharge hoses, exposing employees to severe injuries that can result from impact of the pump discharge hose.
