1910.27(a): Scaffolds used in general industry must meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds).  The employer did not adequately train an employee to recognize the hazards associated with the moving of a scissor lift. Specifically, the employer did not adequately instruct the employee on the correct procedure for positioning the scissor lift in order to adjust the belt tracking on an elevated conveyor (See 1926.454(b)(2)). As a result, on February 8, 2020, an employee was injured when adjusting the belt tracking on an elevated conveyor.
