29 CFR 1910.268(b)(7): Approach distances to exposed energized overhead power lines and parts. The employer shall ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to any electrically energized overhead power lines and parts than prescribed in Table R-2, unless: On or about February 11, 2020, the employer did not ensure a conductive object (strand wire) was not taken closer than the prescribed approach distance in Table R-2 (24 inches) for a 7,200v electrically energized overhead power line.

29 CFR 1910.268(n)(1)(i): The employer shall insure that when handling cable suspension strand which is being installed on poles carrying exposed energized power conductors, employees shall wear insulating gloves and shall avoid body contact with the strand until after it has been tensioned, dead-ended and permanently grounded. On or before February 11, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees handling and installing cable suspension strand on poles carrying exposed 7,200v electrically energized power conductors wore insulating gloves prior to the strand being tensioned, dead-ended and permanently grounded.
