29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:    Worksite located at 5904 NW 107th St, KC MO -- Employee was installing soffit above front entrance of the residential house with no visible means of fall protection. The employee was exposed to fall distance of 8 feet to the ground. The employer failed to provide infeasibility/greater hazard and/or failed to develop and implement a satisfactory fall protection plan under 1926.502(k). The employer should have installed a guardrail system to protect the employee from any fall hazards, as there was no where to anchor a lanyard system to. This was documented on or about 02/19/2020.
