29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. a) Construction site, 101 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ: Road Superintendent responsible for the supervision of work on behalf of A-1 Bracket Group, Inc. had not been trained in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions applicable to the work environment and allowed masons and laborers to work from several different, improperly erected fabricated frame scaffolds setup around Bldg 1, lacking at a minimum: no proper means of accessing upper levels, no fall protection, improper supports for platforms, and use of excessively damage planks; observed on or about 02/21/2020 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
