29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air, that was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i., was used for cleaning purposes without effective chip guarding. a) Jobsite: 725 Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA, Building 725, Line #1 Blower Molder and Packer Full Bottle Conveyor, and Line#2 Shrink Wrap Machine - Employees used air hoses without chip guards to clean debris inside and underneath the machines were exposed to flying debris and compressed air hazards as the employer did not reduce the air pressure to less than 30 p.s.i., or required the use of chip guards. Observed on or about 2/21/20
