29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a. Employees were exposed to respiratory hazardous while working within a confine space area. The employees were required to wear 3M 60921 half face, air purifying respirators while utilizing chemical products, such as but not limited to Jasco Acetone and Oscoda Plastics Seam Sealer. These products contain Furan, tetrahydro, acetone, and toluene which are known to be hazardous to human health. The employer did not provide medical evaluations on or about 2/24/2020. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

These products contain Furan, tetrahydro, acetone, and toluene which are known to be hazardous to human health. The employer did not conduct fit testing for employees using 3M 60921 half face, tight-fitting respirators; on or about 2/24/2020. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. .

These products contain Furan, tetrahydro, acetone, and toluene which are known to be hazardous to human health. The employer did not provide respiratory protection training or basic information on respirators; on or about 2/24/2020. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
