On the west side of the construction site, employees use folded 6-feet and 8-foot A-frame ladders to stand on while installing window frames. The employees were exposed to potential fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or step of a stepladder was used as a step. On the west side of the construction site, an employee working from the top step of a 6-foot A-frame stepladder while folded installing window frames was exposed to potential fall hazards. Cooper Glass Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1395361, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 5908 Getwell Rd., Southaven, MS 38672.
