29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: a) Cardinal Glass, Jessup, PA: Lamination Line 2, Build Room 2, machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by the Casso-Solar oven system, in-going nip point from the chain driven conveyor system leading to the press/trim section of the system. An expanded metal mesh guard was in place with a gap of approximately 12 inches, allowing the laminated glass to pass through the process but also allowed employees to place their hands within the danger zone on or about February 26, 2020. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
