29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been  taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition:    a. Shop area: the Hyster forklift was found to be emitting carbon monoxide as high as 1524 ppm when Drager PAC 7000 CO detector was held approximately three to four feet away from the exhaust while it was running, exposing employees to potential carbon monoxide poisoning.    b. Shop area: the Hyster forklift was found to have an inoperable horn.  c. Shop area: the Big Joe electric pallet jack, Model # POM 30-10, Serial # 313668,  was found to have an inoperable horn.
