Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR 1910.1053(j)(1): The employer did not ensure that each employee has access to labels on containers of crystalline silica and safety data sheets, and is trained in accordance with the provisions of the Hazard Communication Standard and paragraph (j)(3) of this section: a) Blasting and mixing areas, on or about 8/27/20: Hazard communication training for employees exposed to silica did not include provisions contained in paragraph (j)(3) including, but not limited to,: A) health hazards associated with silica exposure, B) tasks that will result in exposure to silica, C) special measures to take to protect against silica exposure, D) this section, especially regarding the exposure control plan, and E) description of the medical surveillance program. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
