The lab is used to conduct experiments for the development of new inventions.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: a) Research Facility, Machine Shop back left wall: On or about 3/5/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards, in that a clear space was not maintained around the power panel in the machine shop used to turn on equipment and lighting. The shop is used by employees to produce prototypes for new inventions.
