29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a.  On or about March 5, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, employees using pneumatic nail guns did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with eye injuries.  b.  On or about March 5, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a portable circular saw did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with eye injuries.  Dingle Bay Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1222433, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 18705 South Mill Creek Dr. in Mokena, IL.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a.  On or about March 5, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing residential construction operations on the outside top plate, approximately twenty-seven (27) feet above the ground, was not protected from falling, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.    b. On or about March 5, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential construction operations next to a window opening on the second floor, approximately eighteen (18) feet above the ground, were not protected from falling, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.  Dingle Bay Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1180529, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 7, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 8906 Holland Harbor Circle in Frankfort, IL.
