29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On or about March 10, 2020, at the worksite, employees were tying rebar reinforcement steel in preparation of pouring concrete. The employees were working near the perimeter of the foundation where there were metal stakes protruding 3 to 12 inches from the ground. Employees were exposed to a hazard of impalement.
