(a) 9320 E VIA DE VENTURA AVE- Employees were working in a trench with Type C soil and the stockpiles were located 18 inches from the edge, exposing them to crush by hazards from cave-ins. (b)9320 E VIA DE VENTURA AVE-Employees were working in a trench with Type C soil and a backhoe was operating 16 inches from the edge, exposing them to crush by hazards from cave-ins.
