29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, sturcure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access. a) Exterior of Building - Scaffold Perpendicular to Crooks Ave: Employees were exposed to a fall hazards ranging from approximately 12 feet to 36 feet while assembling a scaffold that did not have a proper means of access, on or about 3/13/20. Milanos Masonry LLC was previously cited SERIOUS for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1454537, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/3/20, with respect to a workplace located at 1590 Lemoine Ave., Fort Lee, NJ.
