OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Thermal Machine - On or about March 14, 2020, employees were feeding plastic into the feed rollers of the Thermal Machine in a manner where the existing guarding still allowed the employee's hand to be in proximity of the ingoing nip points.
