29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Nonworking portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: a) Facility: On March 17, 2020 and at times prior thereto a blade guard on a Ellis horizontal band saw was damaged. The adjustable guard did not cover all of the non-working portion of the blade, exposing the operator and other employees in the area to the circulating band saw blade. Note) Certification of corrective action required.
