29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  On or about March 10, 2020 at the worksite located at 121 Sierra Vista Cir D, Cornelia, Georgia employees using pneumatic nail guns to install roofing material were exposed to eye injuries when the employer failed to ensure that each employee was protected by proper eye and face protective systems.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about March 10, 2020 at the worksite located at 121 Sierra Vista Cir D, Cornelia, Georgia employees installing roof sheathing material were exposed to falls of approximately 10'3" feet to the inside of the structure and approximately 20'2" to the outside of the structure, when the employer failed to ensure that the exposed employees were properly protected by fall protection means.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  On or about March 10, 2020 at the worksite located at 121 Sierra Vista Cir D, Cornelia, Georgia employees installing roof sheathing material were exposed to falls of approximately 10'3" feet to the inside of the structure and approximately 20'2" to the outside of the structure, when the employer failed to ensure that the exposed employees were properly trained to be able to reduce or eliminate fall hazards throughusing fall protection means.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
