29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about April 29, 2020, employees were exposed to injuries from falls, while conducting reroofing activities, without the benefit of fall protection systems being in place, on a roof in excess of six feet above the lower surface. Oscar Landa Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1170602, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 405 Athens Dr., Colorado Springs, CO. Oscar Landa Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1066799, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 29, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 5524 Prairie Dr., Colorado Springs, CO.
