29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: On or about 5/06/2020, the employer did not ensure that the safety monitor had no other responsibilities when: A. They were watching two (2) sets of workers on opposite ends of a building. B. They were engaged in work operations, such as carrying material, while serving as a safety monitor. The employer was performing roofing operations on commercial building that was less than fifty (50) feet in width. The employees were exposed to an approximate fifteen (15) foot fall to the ground.
