29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not annually fit tested: a) Hackensack Meridian Medical Group, Riverview Medical Center, Labor & Delivery, Red Bank, NJ: On or about April 9, 2020, the employer required Pediatric Hospitalists to use respiratory protection, including, but not limited to, 3M Teal, N95 Respirators, when present during an active delivery to a COVID-19 positive patient or a patient under investigation (PUI). The employer did not conduct annual fit testing. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
