29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) On or about May 20, 2020, employees performing carpentry work from an extension ladder and roof were not properly trained to recognize hazards of falling and how to minimize these hazards. Employees were tasked with replacing wood siding between a garage and residential house.

29 CFR 1926.1060(b): The employer did not provide retraining as necessary so that each employee exposed to fall hazards maintained the understanding and knowledge acquired through initial training: (a) On or about May 20, 2020, an employee performing carpentry work from a extension ladder were not properly trained to recognize hazards related to ladders and how to minimize these hazards. The employees had separated the two sections of the extension ladder and were using the ladder section that read "This ladder section is not designated for separate use" to access the work area.
