ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 1425 Jackson Street, Scranton, PA: A portable extension ladder being used to access the roof of the structure did not extend at least three (3) feet above the roof level being accessed, as observed on or about May 26, 2020. b) Roof of structure: A portable extension ladder used by employees to traverse between a flat roof and a pitched roof was not installed so that the ladder side rails extended at least three (3) feet above the landing surface, on or about May 26, 2020. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
