29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Bob Webb Custom Homes, Inc, at a jobsite located at 5091 Sycamore Trail, Galena, Ohio 43021: On and/or preceding May 26, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls during residential construction activities. An employee was exposed to a fall hazard from an unguarded basement opening, thereby being exposed to a 10 foot fall hazard.
