29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On about May, 21, 2020 at 2550 Blackmon Drive, Decatur, GA 30033  The employer did not ensure that fall protection/guardrails were provided  and utilized for employees while working on the roof of the balcony of an apartment on the top tier.  Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 45 feet.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
