OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Public Law 91-596, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees, in that employees were exposed to: amputation hazard. (a) Work Area - On or about June 6, 2020 the press brakes were not guarded to prevent injury. There are 2 operators for each press with only one foot pedal to operate the press.
