29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator or annually refitted:  Emergency Room, Palisades Medical Center, 7600 River Road, North Bergen, NJ 07047.   a) The employer required six security guards to wear N-95 respirators when assisting emergency room staff that care for patients, including those under investigation for and/or confirmed as positive for COVID-19.  However, the employer did not provide these employees with a fit test to ensure the respirators fit employees to protect them from exposure to the virus.      b) The employer required nine security guards to wear N-95 respirators when assisting emergency room staff that care for patients, including those under investigation for and/or confirmed as positive for COVID-19.  However, the employer failed to provide these employees with their annual fit test when due.  Violation occurred on or about 3/28/2020 and thereafter.
