29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them): (a) All Angles Covered at 233 N Main Street in Brighton, CO 80601: On June 10, 2020 the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that five employees installing new decking on a three-story apartment building with a roof pitch of approximately 4-in-12, were not utilizing any fall protection systems. This condition exposed five employees to a fall hazard of approximately 25-30 feet.
