29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) COMPANY WIDE: On or about and at times prior to June 18, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees received training pertaining to the hazards associated with the products they used regularly. Hazardous constituents included, but were not limited to: gypsum/crystalline silica and Portland cement. New England Gypsum Floors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard in OSHA inspection number 1370370, citation number 2, item number 5b and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 111 Prestige Park Road.
