29 CFR 1915.73(b): When employees were working in the vicinity of flush manholes and other small openings of comparable size in the deck and other working surfaces, such openings were not suitably covered or guarded to a height of not less than 30 inches.  A) 1515 Richmond Terrace Staten Island, NY 10310 Dried docked barge RTC 60  Employees were walking along the outside edge of dry docked barges that had wing hatches with unfastened and displaced covers. Employees were not protected from falling into the hatches.  Hazard noted on or about 06/19/2020

29 CFR 1915.73(d): 29 CFR 1915.73(d): When employees were exposed to unguarded edges of decks, platforms, flats, or similar flat surfaces, more than 5 feet above a solid surface, the edges were not guarded by adequate guardrails meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1915.71(j)(1) and (2).
