Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as, but not limited to, falls during job site operations.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: A) Next Generation Roofing, conducting work at 5532 Harris Hawk Lane, Sylvania, OH 43560: On or about June 18, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees were adequately trained in the appropriate use of fall protection such as, but not limited to, the use of personal fall arrest systems, or alternative measures of fall protection while conducting framing activities atop the first level of the residential structure. Employees were exposed to approximately 11 feet fall hazard from the structure to the ground below.
