29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee(s) engaged in residential roofing activities on low-slope roofs, 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. (a) Employees conducting roofing work on a 4:12 pitch roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately eight (8) feet, ten (10) inches while working on the north and east sides of the structure.
