29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 66 Easton Way, Hainesport NJ: On or about June 26, 2020, and at times prior, the company did not instruct employees in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and how to control or eliminate the existence of struck by and caught in hazards when walking on sand, placed in a truck's open bin hopper, while the sand auger is moving beneath it. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
