29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i): Excavations were sloped at an angle steeper than one and one-half horizontal to one vertical (34 degrees measured from the horizontal), and the employer did not use one of the other options listed below: (a) Miller Bros. Const., Inc., on or about June 29th, 2020, at the location northwest of Dorr St./N. McCord Rd. near 1801 N McCord Rd., Toledo, OH, 43615: An employee was installing new storm lines in a seven foot deep trench in Class C soil that was sloped steeper than one and one-half to one vertical which exposed the employee to potential cave in hazards.
