1910.101(a): The employer did not determine that compressed gas cylinders under his control were in a safe condition to the extent that can be determined by visual or other inspections conducted as prescribed in the Hazardous Materials Regulations On or about July 8, 2020, visual inspection(s) of compressed gas (CNG) cylinders intended to evaluate whether said cylinders were in a safe condition prior to decommissioning failed to reveal that employees would be exposed to explosion and struck-by hazards when using a STIHL 420 Cut Off Saw, which produces frictional heat and sparks.
