29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: AVD a.) EW Bisett & Sons, Inc. dba Bisett Building Center, Area within the concrete drums of the concrete mixing trucks, on or about June 30th, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were required to wear air purifying half mask respirators (Safety works brand 9200 series with P100 cartridges) while performing works tasks including, but not limited to, concrete chipping activities within the concrete drums of concrete mixing trucks. The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures for respirator use that included all provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix). ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
