29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(G): Powered industrial truck operators did not receive initial training on fork and attachment adaptation, operation, and use limitations; Construction reference: 29 CFR 1926.602(d): Powered industrial truck operator training. Note: The requirements applicable to construction work under this paragraph are identical to those set forth at 29�1910.178(l) of this chapter. On July 9, 2020 at the 2221 N. Stevens St., Rhinelander job site, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while setting wood columns using a Skytrak 6042 telehandler that was not equipped with an approved attachment for handling suspended loads and when the operator had not been trained in the proper selection and use of approved attachments for the machine.
