29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:   On or about July 23, 2020, at a residential framing construction jobsite; employees framing a new residential duplex were not provided a training program to understand, recognize and minimize fall hazards where the employees were exposed to unprotected fall hazards to the lower levels.

29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.   On or about July 23, 2020, at a residential framing construction jobsite; framing employees were not provided a training program on how to use ladders and how to recognize hazards related to ladders.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  On or about July 23, 2020, at a residential framing construction jobsite; employees working without hardhats were working from the ground passing framing material to employees at the top level.  The employees did not have on hard hats and were exposed to overhead struck-by hazards.  Salvador Garcia Ramirez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306716, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 14, 2018 with a final abatement date of May 15, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 257 Arbury Lane, Forney TX 75126.

The employees were exposed to eye injuries.  Salvador Garcia Ramirez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306716, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 14, 2018 with a final abatement date of May 15, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 257 Arbury Lane, Forney TX 75126.
