29 CFR 1910.157(d)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not selected based on the classes of anticipated workplace fires and on the size and degree of hazard that would affect their use: Facility: Where portable fire extinguishers were made available for employee use the employer did not select an extinguisher that would effectively fight a fire resulting from aluminum, a Class D type fire. The only extinguishers available were the A-B-C type extinguishers.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following: Facility: When employees handled, and were exposed to, hazardous chemicals in the workplace the employer did not develop and implement a written Hazard Communication Program which would describe how the criteria in in 29 CFR 1910.1200 (f), (g), and (h) would be met.
