29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition: On or about July 23, 2020, the employer failed to ensure that walking-working surfaces were maintained in a safe condition. In the back of the facility, at or around the loading ramp, the concrete is in disrepair. This creates a hazard when employees move carts across the surface; carts can and have tipped, some weighing up to 300 pounds.
