29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about July 24, 2020, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 15 feet to the ground below while installing metal decking without using a personal fall arrest system.

29 CFR 1926.760(d)(1): Guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems and their components did not conform to the criteria in � 1926.502 (Appendix G to this subpart): On or about July 24, 2020, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while using wire rope as a guardrail system when retrieving material from the second story of the building.
