29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(F): Temporary lights were suspended by their electric cords when such lights and cords were not designed for suspension: Subcontractor employees were performing tile and/or drywall operations in the following areas where temporary lighting was suspended by its flexible cord. a) Basement locker room: The temporary lighting string was identified hanging from the flexible cable by insulated wiring. b) Basement hallway/corridor: The temporary lighting string was identified hanging from the flexible cable by insulated wiring. c) First floor, office 114: The temporary lighting string was identified suspended by a metallic structural bolt. Employees were exposed to fire and/or electrical shock hazards.
