Employees engaged in lumber yard stocking and distribution activities were exposed to safety and health hazards in that the employer had not assessed the workplace for hazards which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The B & B Lumber Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.132(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1129067, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/07/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1601 W 1st St, Newton, Kansas 67114.
