29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall protection systems: a. On or about August 18, 2020 and at times prior, on the cribbing work platform for the memorial statue located at 150 Charlotte Street, Saint Augustine, FL: fall protection systems were not being utilized by employees performing the statue relocation rigging preparation work, exposing employees to 13-foot 6-inch fall hazards to the ground.
