29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i)(C): (C) Personal fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems. a). On or about August 12, 2020, one employee was lubricating the wire ropes that operate and stabilize the Link-Belt 238 crawler crane, serial number N2J3-6735 while standing on the rear platform of the hoist assembly section without any means of personal fall protection, travel restraints or positioning system, exposing him to falls in excess of 9-feet, 2-inches to the ground below.
